Snapping Turtle Removal

Snapping Turtles are widespread throughout North America and are our number one turtle call. While not aggressive, snapping turtles are very defensive and will bite. Snapping turtles are also the largest turtle species in Western North Carolina.

Understanding Snapping Turtles

Snapping Turtles are generally a sign of a healthy ecosystem and not damaging to the pond. However, sometimes, they become overpopulated or destructive and need to be removed and relocated. Our turtle removal service will do so safely and professionally.

Should I Trap?

Snapping turtles also provide a valuable service to your pond, cleaning up dead animals and controlling populations of frogs, fish, and some birds. The problems typically begin when they find their way into a stocked fish pond or a pond design for waterfowl.
